| Old Testament |
| Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The first thing God revealed to man is that He is the Creator. Before there was anything in existence of our universe, God was. He is everlasting to everlasting: the Great I Am (the One Who always was, the One Who is, the One Who always will be). He alone can create - bring something into existence from nothing. By His Word He brought all things into existence: all things in space and the atmosphere, all things upon the face of the earth - animate and inanimate. If one cannot accept this introductory verse, one cannot fully understand, receive nor apply the revelation. "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified." [Acts 20:32] |
