Psalm 1:1-2
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
Where are you?
Are you following the advice of ungodly men? Are you in the pathway of those who transgress
the law of God? Are you sitting with those who ridicule God's word and way?
Or do you take pleasure in God's word and His commandments? Do you think about what He
says both day and night to guide you in what you think, what you feel, what you say, and what
you do?
The blessings of God are for those who joyfully allow the revelation of the will of God to direct
their lives. They are happy. They are content. They are at peace.
