It is sort of like lining up dominoes. If you get the first one in the right place, everything will
fall into place. But if the first domino is wrong, none of the other dominoes will fall. You have
to get all of your ducks in a row. The first thing in life is "fear of the LORD."
If you are ever going to make sense out of this life, out of this universe, out of this existence --
it begins with belief, faith, respect and awe of the LORD God of the Bible: He Who made all
things and through Whom all things consist, He Who has given life and breath to us all, He
Who has provided us eternal life in the gracious gift of His Son. Only in the LORD does life,
the universe and all the circumstances of our existence make sense.
However, fools are those who despise His wisdom, His word, the Bible. They will not learn,
and thus wander aimlessly through this life, knowing not that they will face the LORD in
judgment, knowing not that their eternal destiny is at stake.
"So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build
you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified." (Acts 20:32)
